HOT (houdini ocean toolkit) for Cinema 4d review

Hello friends!

It has long been a site has not been updated, and this is because there was a lot of work. Now I will try to do more tutorials and articles, and reviews.

Today we look at the free plug-in for cinema4D based on HOT (houdini ocean toolkit). from valkaari.

Plugin allows you to create a realistic ocean surface quite simple but at the same time have a large number of settings and flexible interface.

What is a plugin itself, it is a deformer and works on the same principle. This means we can deform any surface whether plane or sphere or something else.

To animate waves used keyframes

Review: Cinema 4d free plug-in MagicPreview

Hello friends! Today we talk about the amazing plug-in from Nitroman. (nitro4d.com)

Plug-in called Magic Preview. (http://nitro4d.com/blog/freebie/magicpreview/)

One of the best with this plug-in is that it’s free. Actually it’s like a mix of interactive region render and picture viewer.  So what are the advantages of it? let’s see!

First, let’s look at the interface.

I think with most of the elements of the interface is clear, but you’re probably thinking, what can be preset for in section presets nothing. This render settings presets from Cinema 4d menu.

But my favorite features is adding image inside magicpreview.

Ctrl+LMB

The turn off one of light source.

Ctrl+LMB again

And now direct the cursor top right corner of the screen. Now we can compare the pictures with different settings of light. Very quick and easy! Another of the very interesting features is the ability to control the camera directly in the magicpreview.

In the menu you can select the rendering display, such as real-time or after rendering, showing only the final result. Plug-in works with the Standard renderer, Physical and third-party renders, I tried vray. All works fine! And in the end I want to add that this is a great free plug-in that speeds up and makes more convenient. I recommend to all, whatever you’re doing visual effects, motion graphics and architectural visualization.

Thanks for reading, and see you next time!
